Sad News: Access Holdings Chairman, Bababode Osunkoya, Passes Away

According to Access Bank Sources, Bababode Osunkoya, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Access Holdings Plc, has passed away. A statement released by the company secretary, Sunday Ekwochi, on Thursday, November 23, 2023, disclosed that the late Osunkoya died on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, after a brief illness.

As a result of this unfortunate incident, the company now has a nine-member board, consisting of three executive directors, including the group chief executive officer, and six non-executive directors, two of whom are independent. Access Holdings Plc has also promised to announce Bababode Osunkoya’s successor soon.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
