Godwin Emefiele, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), is set to be arraigned before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) today on charges related to fraud.
There are concerns that he might face re-arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following the arraignment.
Emefiele had regained freedom on November 8 after spending almost five months in detention over corruption allegations.
His release came after filing a fundamental right enforcement suit through his legal team, led by Mr. Matthew Burkaa, (SAN).
