NIGERIANS WAKE UP, THERE IS A PROPHET IN THE LAND… REVISITING THE PROPHESIES OF PRIMATE AYODELE, AND GOING FORWARD
Growing up, I knew people who did pools betting. It’s no more popular these days. Baba ijebu another variant of betting on soccer and other sports sent them packing.
Those days men spent weeks going through old coupons and special pools newspapers predicting which team would win which match. They also bought from so-called specialists what they called ‘bankers’, a set of numbers that could never fail. Rarely did these men I know become rich playing pool. One number always seemed to cut their joy short. That was another time and place.
If they were around today and still following sports and perhaps betting, they only need to tune into Primate Ayodele to know which team will win what match and which team will lose. And they would have become rich. When something happens once in five times, it is luck but when it happens back to back, we need to take it seriously.
Primate Ayodele is a tough customer. He says that he is not looking for friends but out to reveal the truth that he is shown. It is dicey because he alone is privy to what he sees. The man of God has gone beyond predicting politics to prophesying about which team will win which match and by how many goals margin. This is no more a fluke. International bookmakers I hear are starting to focus on him, but he has cautioned that his prophesies are not for betting. He has said his own. It is left for them to obey. But I know they won’t. Soon people will start gathering in front of his church begging him to release another prophetic sports video. Someday, I hope to ask Primate Ayodele how he does it. And I am serious. I need to tell that story exclusively. Let’s look at some of those sports-related prophecies and return to politics thereafter.
Recently, Primate Ayodele caused an uproar in Nigeria when in a video he predicted the outcome of Manchester City VS Bournemouth, Liverpool VS Luton town went viral.
In the video, Primate Ayodele specifically mentioned the number of goals that will be conceded in the matches. And it was so.
There are other instances, be patient. During the last soccer season Primate Ayodele spoke about the fate of Chelsea FC. In a video he was emphatic Chelsea FC is finished and that no amount of players will be able to save the club unless the club returns to its former owner, Roman Abramovich, and seeks his blessings.
During the last Champions League which was won by Real Madrid, Primate Ayodele in a video circulated before the tournament got to the round of 16 said that the winner would be between four teams namely Manchester City, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich.
He did not stop there. Just before the Semi-finals which were played between Real Madrid VS Manchester City and AC Milan VS Inter Milan, Primate Ayodele said that whoever wins the former will win the cup. He continued by revealing how both clubs can take advantage of some minutes in the match.
He is quoted to have said,
“Honestly, anyone who wins between Manchester City and Real Madrid will win the cup. If you ask me who will win between them, I will say Madrid has all it takes in the first half, 56 minutes, 78 minutes, and 85 minutes. Madrid has all it takes to win but if they take Man City for granted in the first leg, it will be a serious thing.’’
In the end, Manchester City won the cup. What is abundantly clear is that Primate Ayodele didn’t just say who will win the cup, he mentioned clubs that have chances and three of them got to the Semi-final. He mentioned how clubs can take advantage of specific time to win, he also revealed how the winner will emerge all in very precise words. No hide and seek. It’s not kalo kalo business. You either have it or you don’t.
There is some more before we go to other matters. During the last World Cup which Argentina won, Primate Ayodele at the beginning predicted some players that wouldn’t shine during the tournament. Chief among them was Cristiano Ronaldo and we all know what happened to Portugal at the World Cup. In the same vein, in predicting the winner of the World cup, Primate Ayodele was emphatic that the cup would be won by Argentina and further explained that Messi has between 30-70 minutes to act well. Argentina won the match against France despite the latter having an edge over the former due to the sophisticated players available.
That is sports. If I was a betting man, I would keep money aside and wait till a major tournament is about to kick off and put my money on those he tips to win. But I won’t because I am a StoryTeller and I must face my job.
Going through the Bible, we had many prophets in Israel who predicted many things and they turned out to be so. We all know the story of Elisha who said,
“Listen to the message from the LORD! The LORD says, ‘About this time tomorrow, there will be plenty of food, and it will be cheap again. 2 Kings 7;1.
When this prophecy was given, it sounded so outlandish and impossible that a very close aide of the king laughed and said it would only be possible if God would open the windows of heaven. He said it as courtiers always do to impress their bosses. Elisha was not smiling. He told him that he would see of it but wouldn’t eat therefore. Everything came to pass specifically as Elisha predicted. This was the deliverance Israel needed from years of famine and hunger and an invading army. The situation had gotten so bad that mothers were cooking and eating their children.
Nigeria is at a crossroads. Things are pretty rough just as primate Ayodele predicted. I don’t like listening to that message because it was clear the calamity that will befall Nigeria if we vote APC.
Over-riding personal ambition, ego, and greed made us close our eyes and ears to the words of the prophet, now we are stuck. What many do not understand is that all the jamboree the government is doing is from debts. All the billions about to be shared to pull the so-called 40 million households out of poverty is from loans that have been taken. Loans that we do not know when we will repay. The more loans we collect, the harder things become, and the more expensive food is nationwide. People have started feasting on other humans in Nigeria. The poor are suffering and hopeless. We appear to be going around in a vicious circle; a maze that does not have an exit. Finance Minister Wale Edun does not know how to get us out of this mess. He is the borrower-in-chief. He travels from country to country smiling at technocrats, signing agreements for more loans that he is not sure how we will repay. But I guess as long as there is money to spend today, tomorrow will take care of itself. That is jankara economics.
There must be a reason why God ordained prophets and placed them in certain countries and every prophet has his own time and season. And God uses them as he sees fit for His purposes. Daddy G.O. said God did not show or tell him anything about 2023. We understand. He has also been quiet. But 2023 is here and the suffering is much. What do we do? We need to get off our high horse and approach Prophet Ayodele to go back into the spirit realm and represent the matter of Nigeria to the Most High so we can find a way out. He needs to Ask God what we need to do. This is beyond economics and monetary theories. This is a spiritual matter and spiritual matters require deep understanding. This has gone beyond politics. Nigeria needs divine deliverance to survive. We are in deep shit, forgive my language. If about 100 of the political prophecies of Primate Ayodele have come to pass, we must all wake up and take action.
Something bothers me though. Are we as a people ready and willing to make changes and rewind the clock or do we want to continue with what we have now? This has gone beyond whether the President belongs to your party or your tribe or whether Primate Ayodele wears a white garment. Forget the Messenger, what’s important is the message. No sentiments. What we need is not long talk but solutions. The clock is ticking…
I am convinced those at the top are consulting widely spiritually as well, Seeking solutions. They are desperate to turn the tide because they too have been told that the matter is beyond ordinary. Men, being men, will always claim to have capabilities they do not possess. It is results that differentiate.
One thing is clear, if you are knocking on the wrong door, you cannot be granted access. May God teach our leaders wisdom and help them to shun pride and do what is right before it is too late. We might need national repentance.
Or we might wake up one day and discover some more discerning and appreciative people from abroad came overnight with a 747 and asked him to pack up his church, family, and members to go set up on their continent because they know his worth. That is one story i am not ready to tell, at least not just yet.
