THE PLOT AGAINST FEMI GBAJABIAMILA WILL FAIL, FRIENDS SAY
Friends of The Chief of Staff to The President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila have risen up stoutly to his defense saying the plot against him and his office will fail.
Said a concerned friend.
“How can anybody associate the Chief of Staff with that? This allegation is absurd. It shows the level Nigerians will descend to when they want to blackmail and discredit a person.”
In the last few days online news platforms have been flooded with news that the COS was selling appointments to the highest bidder.
His friends say this is untrue and a fallacy.
Hon Femi Gbajabiamila is a seasoned politician and former Speaker to of The Federal House of Representatives. His friends describe him as an asset to this government.
We heard,
“Femi acts as a stabilizer in this government. He was brought in by the President because he has full confidence in his capacity and his reach, but to smear him with such allegation saddens everybody.”
Said another source,
“The job of the COS is more serious than compiling names for appointment. He runs the Villa and ensures that everything around the President runs smoothly.”
Our source revealed that Femi has brought orderliness and decorum to the Villa. It’s no more business as usual and a lot of powerful people are not happy about that.
Our source describes the plot to stain the reputation of the COS as dead on arrival.
“This is a desperate move not only to blackmail the COS but to destabilize the harmony of this government. He is not bothered by all this and continues to do his best and put in long hours at his desk as usual.”
“Having spent the last 20 years in the Nigerian Parliament, and after winning my 6th term election into the National Assembly, I shall work with Mr. President in discharging the enormous task ahead of him for the peace and progress of the federal republic of Nigeria,” Femi tweeted on after his appiontment.
