“Let My People Go: The StoryTeller Sends a Satirical Message to Nyesom Wike, Urging an End to His Rule and Embrace Change”

Once upon a time in the majestic land of Rivers State, there lived a powerful ruler named Nyesom Wike. Oh, how he relished his role as king and master, dispensing resources and favors as he pleased for a whopping eight years. He saw himself as untouchable, wielding his power with reckless abandon.
But alas, a new governor named Sim Fubara took the reins of power. Governor Fubara, determined for change, boldly declared that things could no longer be the same as before. The audacity!
However, Wike, now residing in the distant land of Abuja as a Minister, had no intention of giving up his influence. He wanted to continue calling the shots, defying the will of the people and the new governor. His power thirst knew no bounds.
Governor Fubara stood his ground, refusing to yield to Wike’s demands. He declared that the days of Wike’s reign as king and master were over. The people applauded, hoping for a new era of transparency and progress.
Yet, Wike and his loyal cohorts, refusing to accept their loss of power, threatened brimstone and fire. They clung to the remnants of their past dominance, blinded by their longing for control.
But lo and behold! The StoryTeller emerged, his words dripping with irony and humor. He looked at Wike and declared, “Let my people go!”
Yes, Wike, just like the great Pharaoh in the biblical tale of Moses, you are being called upon to release the people of Rivers State from the chains of your self-centered rule. The StoryTeller has spoken, his words carrying the weight of truth and justice.
And so, Wike, as you sit in Abuja as a Minister, remember that your time as the ruling monarch has come to an end. The people of Rivers State yearn for a leader who puts their needs above personal gain, who listens to their voices and respects their aspirations.
Governor Fubara was your boy, your put him there, but times have changed. Sim’s message remains strong. It is time for a new chapter, where the people’s welfare takes precedence over individual ambitions. Do not cling to power like a desperate castaway. Embrace change, and let the people of Rivers State chart their own destiny.
No Rivers State Governor welded as much power as you did. You ruled Rivers State accounting to no one, answerable to no power, the elders did what you asked of them, the youths jobless and hungry jumped at what you threw them. You have had your day. It’s time to let go.
The StoryTeller has spoken, reminding you of the biblical tale. So, Wike, let my people go—the same way God instructed Pharaoh to release the Israelites. Embrace humility, step down from your high throne, and allow a new era of progress to flourish in Rivers State.
