While other nations advance technologically and explore outer space, Nigerian public officers are shamelessly looting government cars and tractors. Recent revelations from Sokoto State have exposed the staggering theft of 745 official vehicles by former Governor Aminu Tambuwal’s aides. This egregious act demands immediate action to end this pervasive problem and hold these thieving public officers and politicians accountable.

According to the Sokoto State Committee for the Review of Wasteful and Unnecessary Government Assets, the shocking number of 745 official vehicles were illegally taken by appointees of the former governor.
